So for my study shall I buy:

1) a corner desk so that I can look across my room with my back to the window, but things will fall off the open side?
2) a curvy desk with one straight side that will look good, but things will fall off the curve, and it is not very big?
3) a short desk with a backboard so that I can sit with my back to the window and have two sides things won't fall off, but it's not very big?
4) a long, plain rectangular desk with one-and-a-half the desk area of 2 or 3 but which requires me to sit facing the wall?

All are nice plain wooden tables with sensible legs in good condition, and cheap enough for the price differences not to matter.

(I'd do this as a poll but this is a free account and I don't feel like upgrading right now.)
