LJ Cuts - help please

Having noticed that the last couple of times I tried to put stuff behind a cut it didn't work, I have just spent half-an-hour trying seriously to get it to work in two different browsers (Firefox and Internet Explorer 8) . Either it doesn't work or I'm missing something. Has anyone any suggestions? Lots of you seem to be able to put stuff behind cuts and it used to work.

The syntax is [lj-cut text=" "] with the [] replaced with the usual HTML brackets.

and [/lj-cut] to end the cut.

When you post something containing a cut you'll usually be asked if you want to see the entry - but that shows you everything, including the stuff in the cut.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Marcus. As you can see from my next post, that worked.

I use the text editor, and write:
<lj-cut text="Click here for more">Here is some more</lj-cut>

FAQ

From the WYSIWYG editor, it looks like you need to highlight the text, then click on the cut icon.

Thanks. That worked. Now you can wonder what happened to my brains that I failed to look at the FAQ!
