End-of-week tired.

If a chef who tells you in the introduction to the cookbook not to reheat rice, then suggests options for using reheated rice in a recipe, what do you do with the cookbook?

Reheat it?

Go with the recipe. We've used reheated rice on many occasions, and it has never caused any problems. (Although it may depend on what you actually wish to re-use it for -- bulk out the dishes in question, save yourself cooking a new batch of rice, whatever).

(It's possible that the introduction may be aimed chiefly at reviewers who are looking for absolutely *divine* new ideas (dahling), and who will never go on to read the rest of the book.)
