While we were in Sweden in June we visited the Linneaus Garden at the University of Uppsala, and took a load of photos.

The garden was fascinating and there is a virtual tour of it here:

I can recommend Uppsala for a short break - there were two botanic gardens (I didn't get to the other) and a lovely little museum.

We've been to Uppsala a couple of times and had a lovely time each trip.

The first time Linnea did point out the Linneaus Garden to us but it was late in november and the weather wouldn't have been conducive to wandering around it (also I think it may have been closed for the winter season).

The last time Linnea stayed with us, I pointed out the Linnean Society of London property, just, around the corner from our house... not that it has anything interesting like a garden, or even an interesting building, but as a point of interest.

I'd like to go again. Maybe if I officially retire...
